George & everybody at the Blue Gecko were fantastic. Super helpful in providing recommendations for things to do in the area and for directly coordinating tours, motorbike rentals, and laundry. Made the trip extremely memorable & easy. George is a gem and I would strongly recommend his place to anyone looking for a relaxed vacation, close to the beach, nature, and excursions.

Amazing service!

What an amazing service!! George the owner couldn’t do enough for me, if there was anything I asked for he fixed it! I was working on this trip and the wifi in my bungalow was not so stable, George even bought a router and put it in my bungalow, that’s service beyond average! The people working in the reception and the cleaners are so friendly as well. The bungalow was clean and the bathroom was renovated so nothing to complain about here either! The place is located close to the beach and you have the main street close as well with many shops and restaurants. There is a proper gym as well just 5 minutes walk. I will definitely come back to this place! Thank you so much for taking so good care of me🌺

Very Overpriced!

This was among the only choices we had at the time for 3 nights. It is extremely overpriced and what you get for the money is basically a joke! We stayed at many hotels previously, like Nakara which is one block away for cheaper, with a nice bungalow, pool, beach access, breakfast, etc. Blue Gecko, although the owner was nice, I could not recommend unless absolutely last resort. They turned water off randomy without any notice, and suddeny shower or brusching teeth, or go to bathroom was not possible, even at like 23:00 at night. I would never go here again.

It’s a bed and a toilet. No furniture. If it wasn’t for the location I suspect nobody would ever stay here
