Wouldn’t stay here

Hotellet behöver sig en renovering det är väldigt väldigt gammalt och nergånget. Poolen är väldigt smutsig och solstolarna väldigt slitna. Det är verkligen överpris. Men jag måste ge personalen ett stort tack, wow va serviceminded dem är och så otroligt snälla.

Spacious, traditional bungalows are linked by a boardwalk that leads to the hotel outdoor pool, dining area and beautiful Khlong Dao beach. Breakfast is good and attended by a friendly, helpful staff. The location is convenient - just a short walk to Main Street and quick access to the beach, restaurants and stores. There are many lounge chairs and tables around the pool and beach front and large trees offer a lot of shade. The area is quiet at night, and it’s lovely to wake up to the songs of birds in the morning. The lighting is a little dim at night, especially if you want to take a shower, but these are minor quibbles. Would definitely consider staying at Royal Lanta again.

Virkelig slidt hotel. Værelserne var slidte og flere bygninger stod tomme og faldefærdige. Mangler en gennemgribende renovering. Fitness rum med ikke fungerende maskiner. For få liggestole. Umuligt at få en efter kl 07:30.

Sengene var hårde som sten, der var myg og myrer over alt, vi havde mug flere steder på badeværelset. Det lugtede at rådende æg oppe omkring værelserne og poolen.

Fruktansvärt, boka inte!

Detta var en enorm besvikelse! När vi anländer så är rummen inte klara i tid vilket kan ske. Efter en tids väntan så blir vårt rum klart. Rummet är smutisgt, hår från tidigare gäst i badrummet och sängen samt sand på golvet och annan smuts. Vi informerar om detta och får ett nytt rum. Det är inte rent men okej efter förutsättningarna. Hotellet har absolut inte ett fungerande städteam. Rummen och hotellet är enormt slitet och känslan är att man knappt har gjort något sedan man öppnade 2001. Solsängarna vid pool ramlade ihop och det låg lösa plankor med spika runt poolen. Tog en dag för hotellet att dtäda undan. Servicen var obefintligt och det var inte att de som jobbade där inte ville hjälp till utan att de helt enkelt inte visste vad de skulle göra. Har rest mycket i mitt liv och detta var en av de sämsta upplevelserna. Det du ser på bilderna är inte rätt. Vill med detta varna alla att inte boka detta hotell!

Vi har desværre haft en super dårlig oplevelse på 4 dage med dette hotel. Vi har booket Pool Suite, hvor der ikke er gjort rent på vores værelse og der er myg overalt, desværre intet myggenet på værelset. Vi oplever pludslig også at der kravler myre overalt og det udvikler sig senere til vi ender i at sove med myre i sengen og de kravler på hovedpuden og i sengen og bider desværre. Vi vælger hurtigt at kontakte receptionen omkring at få et nyt værelse, desværre forstår de ikke vores situation, udover sætte et meget lille myggenet op på værelset som var meget hullet. Efter vi har brokket os 3 gange, får vi et nyt værelse dagen efter kl 15, hvor vi skal check ud fra vores nuværende inden kl 12.00, så andre gæster kan få det. Oplevelsen derfra får 1 stjerne op, men ikke meget mere, da hotellet er meget skuffet ift. billederne de viser. Der lugter rådent og meget af rådne æg på både værelse og området omkring værelserne.... Poolen ved stranden var fin, dog er poolen ved pool villaerne ikke god da den er grøn og ofte skrald på bunden, men der samtidig lugter forfærdeligt af tidligere beskrevet. Da vi checker ud får vi ingen refundering eller undskyldning, trods vores dårlige oplevelse.

Great location and stay - avoid the bar though.

We had a great stay here. For the price and location, you can’t do better on Koh Lanta! My only complaint is the beach bar - they have 2 for 1 cocktails (220 thb) and we ordered one. They were so small you could literally pour them together in one cocktail glass and that still didn’t make a Norma size drink. We complained to the staff about it, but they did not care. Last drink we had there! As long as you skip those drinks, it’s a five star property!

Lugnt var namnet

Läget var topp! Mysig miljö med trall mellan bungalows, men rummen var täta som en sil! Glipor stora så fåglarna kan gå raklånga igenom in i rummet. Gillar man ödlor på rummet är detta stället för dig. Löjlig frukost, men fantastisk utsikt. Eftersatt är helhetsintrycket tyvärr.

Great location for families - very quiet but close to lots of restaurants. Mango was very helpful as was all the staff - very friendly. Would definitely stay here again

Koh lanta

Resort is lovely and the staff are helpful and friendly. However the rooms are a little rundown and old. The superior rooms are barely a standard room level. The cleanliness was lacking in some areas of the rooms. Like shower gel hold leaked rust and there was no black out curtains or blinds in the rooms. There was bad limescale on all crome in bathroom. However after raising some of these issues with the reception team. I have upgraded to a 2 bed villa room. Which was better bit still not perfect. The location and rest of the resort was good. Right on the beach and u could have breakfast in front of sea.

Bra hotell, bra service, bra läge

Fantastiskt bra personal, fint och mysigt hotell med charmig traditionell touch. Ligger mitt på stranden med bra restauranger, massage och annan service precis intill hotellet åt båda sidor. Poolområdena är bra men vi var framförallt på området framför stranden vilket var bra. Det enda som vi har som feedback är att det krävs en liten generell uppfräschning av möbler och dyl. En del trasiga grejer och en del slitage samt Wi-Fi som fungerade lite sådär men förutom det var det fullpott. Med det sagt så hade vi kommit tillbaka.

Supernice hotel with extraordinary vibe, loves our stay for 9 nights! The rooms could use a little love but all in all a great stay. Perfect location, very sercuveminded staff❤️ would absolutely recomend a stay here! Very Nice beach right outside! Loved it!

Quelle déception ! Avions une chambre supérieure ( ? ) cantonnée dans un bâtiment sans ascenseur au fond du terrain. Chambre très basique, mur en béton blanc sans aucune déco, frigidaire en guise de table de chevet, distributeur shampoing et savon vides, bouilloire cassée, prise électrique défectueuse heureusement la literie était très bonne ! Les parties communes extérieures manquent d’entretien, transats cassés autour de la piscine…. Petit déj assez basique. Dommage car il y a un énorme potentiel mais un manque d’entretien évident. Le personnel était sympathique.
