"We enjoyed our stay at Shantaa. What stood out was the expansive area with the villas strategically located for privacy, providing a sense of open space with beautiful views of the sea. Enjoyed the lap pool in the mornings. The restaurant sat atop a hill and during this season few people were there. Suggest staying with the Thai food options, as the Western food was limited and did not compare to the quality of the Thai food. Staff friendly and very accommodating. Adding a spa to the resort recommended. "

"Beautiful property. The staff were incredible and so kind, friendly and willing to help. The beach was private and we didnt experience any sandflies. The scooter we rented was in great condition. Snorkels and paddleboards were complimentary which was a nice touch. Breakfast was wonderful. The hilltop rooms had beautiful views, the only thing i wish is that there were more hooks in the bathroom to hang towels but they do provide a rack outside. A perfect stay! Thank you to the incredible staff at Mira Montra, we loved our stay here."

"We loved the pools and the view from the hotel across the beach and out to sea. The staff were incredibly lovely and the splash pool and slide a hit with the kids. The morning yoga was wonderful the restaurant food was good too. The only downside for us was that the property is in need of some renovation. Broken tiles in beach pool, proves missing their thatching, our outdoor shower was unusable as filthy and in poor condition. The indoor shower was a handheld standing or sitting in bath so not ideal."

"Paradise! Beautifully landscaped, own tiny beach where you can swing over clear waters, gorgeous pool, super peaceful, nice restaurant, lovely, clean, round air-conditioning posh "huts', good hot showers and large dressing area. Plus the sweetest people working there! Very helpful. Only downsides, the rooms had no full length mirrors, and as I'm short, I could only ever see the top half of my head before I went out. PUT SOME MIRRORS IN THE ROOMS PLEASE! Also, you need to hire a bike/scooter, which the reception will glady organise for you, to get to any other cafe/ bar if you wanted to dine elsewhere, which made us feel slightly like hostages to their good, but somewhat-for-Thailand expensive restaurant. Still, compared to Europe, it's a bargain. And it is PARADISE! I spent my whole time there smiling."
