However, when I came to the reception early morning it was still closed, so that I had to leave without my deposit and almost lost my ferry departure. "I've stayed at hundreds of places over the years and Phangan Beach Resort is in my top five. Bungalows on the beach in Thailand, no crowd (off season, and luckily no rain), beach bar with great food and prices, very nice staff and owners (Mark and Toby), just a beautiful setting and vibe. Quiet and peaceful. We will be back. Thanks to all the staff there."
