"My partner and I had a wonderful stay from 27/12 to 10/01 at Mandarava. We had the simplest Tropicana room but it felt as luxurious. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Staff are amazing and always willing to help. Car to and from the beach is very convenient. Pool is great. Restaurant is delicious. Breakfast has many options to choose from. Nothing to complain about. Hotel location may put some down as it is hilly but this did not affect us. "

"The place is wonderful, a lot of greenery, the sand beach right below the hotel. Two swimming pool, 3 restaurants, perfect for us. Golf carts available if you don't want to walk between your room and the activities... And we've been upgraded (I wanted a suite with the sofa bed upstairs instead of the sitting area next to the bedroom). The only downside in the room was the noise from the A/C...it is an issue in most of the hotel I went to."

"The breakfast buffet was amazing! Great stay! Great beach. Wonderful stay. Across the street from the hotel you can find some restaurants a couple shops and massage spas but generally the area is all for this hotel. A more lively area would be up the road at Kata Beach. However it’s a short walk or a short Grab ride. This area is better for kids. The resort has plenty to do and really caters to you if you have kids. They have babysitting service as well. "

"Definitely value for money! The room was decently sized. The hotel was beautiful. We had a spa package included and it was amazing. The staff were fantastic. Breakfast was always very crowded and there was a variety of options, but we didn't enjoy it as much as our previous accommodation. The hot drink machine always tasted watered down and the fruit was average. There was a 7 eleven just down the road and a couple smaller restaurants, but if you went down the side street there was a great little night market. I think the pool/gym is shared with the public so you have to sign in to use it which was a bit annoying, but not a big deal. Once again, staff were friendly and always willing to help. "
