"Great location "

"Great central location but couple of issues - lights in bathroom didn't work, there was a massive ridge in the middle of the floor (trip hazard) & the fridge was not working - in fact it was running very hot & there was a burning smell in the unit (plastic was warping inside fridge around light) - a clear fire risk. When informed Smartflats simply thanked us for the info & made no attempt. to remedy or compensate. Poor service as we rented the apartment to prepare our own food & were limited....

Customer service insisted there were guests. So tried to climb the dark stairs with luggage and found there was another flight of stairs hidden from view. Took that reached the apartment and...

"Had a great time. Came in specifically for the Teddy Swims Concert at TRIX Zaal - the how was great. People in the area were extremely helpful. Stayed off the tourist grid pretty much and saw a lot of beautiful things. Owner has a guidelines book for guests that was absolutely awesome."

We had a bit of an issue with the level of noise from the nearby road - concrete with gaps that meant the whole building trembled a little when lorries passed by.
