Beautiful property but a bit far from action and requires traveling which can get expensive if you’re not willing to risk riding a scooter. Breakfast buffet was good. Concierges were not very helpful with arranging things.

Perfect mid range hotel

We had an incredible 5 night stay. The style of the hotel and views are amazing. The food is great and all staff are very attentive. Would highly recommend. There’s a beach which is easily walkable and the area is nice and quiet.

The staff were amazing! One of the many examples: I had originally booked a room for ocean view however the room was a climb up the hill which was not possible for my mother. The staff helped us relocate to another room which was lower and that made the entire experience much better. Really appreciate the team and the personalized service.

We stayed at Fair House for 9 nights and overall this was an average stay. The room does resemble the photos but is tired in comparison to photos which look very polished. However, almost all rooms are interconnecting and the connecting door area is not very well soundproofed so music and conversation can be heard from the room next door. The hotel facilities are ok - the pool area is large and has enough loungers and umbrellas. The gym is poor in quality compared to other 4* hotels - again it’s tired and feels neglected and the same can be said for the kayaks and the paddle boards. The restaurant is quite disappointing and serves basic and bland meals. We were asked if we like spice, and we said yes, but were then served meals which contained no spice at all. The breakfast options are also uninspiring and the quality of the buffet and cooked-to-order food is not as high as it could be. The staff are welcoming and friendly, but the overall service could be a bit more refined - e.g. staff circulating at the pool area, consistent level of housekeeping service in the room, being more helpful with general queries, free shuttle service into Fisherman’s Village (as offered by other hotels) etc. Scooter hire is outsourced to an external hire company, with a very rude, unhelpful and disinterested person running it, so it would be worth reconsidering who the hotel partners with for this service. We were really looking forward to our stay at Fair View Villas but unfortunately were

Lovely resort with great amenities and accommodation. Massive king size bed, beautiful bathroom. Loved outside chalet type rooms surrounded by trees and plants. Restaurant overlooking the sea and sandy beach. Downside was having to wait quite a long time after 2pm check in when we'd arrived early at 11 and told they would try and get us early check in. Disappointed also to find out that the 6am breakfast advertised was now 7am and the 6am packed breakfast promised didnt artive before we left for the surport. Also we had to pay to get the hotel shuttle bus to the airport at a cost of 600 bhart and no hotel discount or free shuttle. Plus was that a staff member was waiting outside our room dot on 6.30 am to take us and our luggage in a golf buggy. Overall lovely resort and friendly staff.

Baffling Service

Lovely facilities although a little tired and needing a bit of attention. Service was very confusing though, wait staff more preoccupied with chatting amongst themselves than serving customers. Sometimes requiring a wait of 15 minutes to get their attention in an almost empty restaurant. Most of the staff speak a minimal amount of English, meaning common requests such as “no sugar in my coffee” often didn’t get across. Each time the same item was ordered it came back differently, implying little standardisation in the kitchens. Bar tender rarely present at the pool bar, and when they were service was slow and confused. Food was overall delicious but not comparable to restaurants charging similar prices.
