The best first hotel to stay in on our first trip to Thailand. Pinky was incredibly helpful. She organised taxis and scooter hire. Breakfasts were delicious. Having our own private pool was such a treat. Thank you very much Pinky and brilliant staff!

The "honeymoon suite" was an entire villa. Perhaps I didn't look at the pictures close enough, but I was so surprised to have the whole home to myself. Tai and her team met me for a warm welcome and laid out beautiful flowers in the entry. The kitchen was large and seemed to have all the essentials. The home was very quiet, I slept deeply. I only booked one night as a fix before going to the airport the next day. As soon as I arrived, I wished I'd booked a longer trip! I would definitely visit again. One note - there is no reception/office, so I don't believe they can hold your bags past the checkout time.

We were upgraded to a 3 bedroom villa although a little bit big for us was absolutely beautiful with a huge kitchen and the bedrooms were also lovely with huge en-suites and we also had a lovely private pool as a extra we had breakfast cooked for us every morning by the lovely Mina who couldn’t do enough for us as also the lovely manageress ong who went out of her way for whatever we needed and make our stay happy and comfortable even picking us up from her office and driving us up the hill when we couldn’t make it after eating too much dinner I would recommend paradise island to anyone that is coming to cheong mon in koh Samui

Amazing, amazing, amazing. I can’t say enough about the service, the amenities or the property itself. They thought of absolutely everything and were so friendly, helpful and welcoming. Fantastic!

We stayed in the honey moon suite and initially booked for a seven night stay, it was so lovely we extended it by another four nights. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff were really amazing and gave us a 5 star treatment. The room was extremely comfortable and spacious and absolutely spotless and the private pool and jacuzzi bath made our stay even better. I would highly recommend this estate and will definitely be coming back again.

Fantastic villa and excellent customer service that was perfect for the trip. The staff were helpful and Ong the manager was always on hand to make sure the stay was perfect. Husband and I impressed with the facilities and service and would definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting to stay in the choeng mon area.

Ong is amazing!! She took care of every detail and made sure my entire stay was the best it could be. I stayed in the honeymoon suite, and the pictures I had seen did not do this place justice - but I'm not sure mine do either. Although too large of portions for me, breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious and was served by such a nice girl. The taxi made available was reliable and convenient. It is a short ride to Chaweng and a short walk to Choeng Mon Beach, which provided a beautiful sunrise. This was a fantastic place to stay, and I'd love to return next time I am in Samui.

Séjour de 6 jours en famille dans un cadre paradisiaque. Tout y était: calme, piscine, confort et espace de la villa, cordialité et disponibilité du personnel ( pour les succulents petits déjeuners de Pra et les bons conseils de Dam), la gentillesse de la gérante et de la présence à toute heure de Panoui pour nous amener à différents endroits de l'ile. Bref, on regrette presque de n'y être pas resté plus longtemps.

Very nice place in the jungle

Paradise Island Estate is a private hotel area in the jungle with an own pool, but luckily the beach and restaurants are pretty nearby (appr. 500m). Very peaceful area overall. The manager Ong and her team was really helpful & friendly.

Fabulous villa

The Villa was large, beautifully furnished and very well maintained - absolutely spotless. The grounds were really beautiful. It was a tropical paradise. We had been upgraded to a 4 bedroom villa and the pool was a good size. The Manager is called Francisco and I I never met him but he always answered emails very quickly. Upon arrival we were met by Miss Ong who gave us a phone and told us to ring any time we needed anything. There was also a number in the phone for a taxi driver who we used all the time - he was a bit cheaper than other local taxis. When we wanted to hire a car she had one delivered to the villa for us. The lovely Pon came and cooked our breakfast and cleaned every day for us. She was so nice and and sweet. It was a wonderful place and the staff really went the extra mile. Fantastic!

Beautiful Resort and outstanding service

Our stay at Paradiseislandestate was excelent. Our Villa Manageress Ong was outstanding, Choeng Mon Beach is stunning and breakfast cooked by Our Private Chef was a real treat. Our prívate garden and pool was a real treat. We were so glad with the experience that we will book another stay with you very soon. 5 stars all the way, Thank you so much for such a delightful experience.

A very bad experience in my travel life

This is my first birthday trip in my life. But they give me a very bad experience too. I search many hotel before booking. At last I confirm to book this hotel because they have Jacuzzi and private pool. But when I arrival,they told me that I need to change another hotel in the next day. I am very disappointed about their arrangement. I hope they can improve in that case. And please don't give the same case happen again. I am very disappointed I cant enjoy the hotel in the trip. But I am very appreciate the staff. She is very nice, helpful. And I know that the arrangement is not by her.

I had booked this house ,based upon the fact I need a house with a bigger kitchen. When we arrived ,off the main road,the cottage was a one room cottage ,that had none of things mentioned in the listing. No kitchen,no robes,smaller tv.backyard poorly maintained. they moved us the next day to another house ,that had a real kitchen. This listing does not reflect what they are selling and will not come back.

Overbooked hotel - sent us to the Imperial Beach

I booked this hotel on hotels.com and turned up and was taken to the "office" and told that there was a problem with the hotel and I couldnt stay there. The manageress told me in broken english that the room was flooded and i couldnt even see the place. Ultimately I was told later that the hotel was overbooked. In any case they sent me to the nearby beach hotel, which online costs 1/3 the price of the paradise island estate.Hotels.com has not offered me any compensation.

Great Service

The villa was very nice, very clean. All the people and especially Ong were great, always available to be sure everything was ok. The garden was nice especially with a jaccuzzi inside. great stay!

romantic gateway

little bit away from main street,but only little,10 min walk,but manager is there willing to help anytime.We used deluxe suite,had some small problems about wifi...very nice,everybody is polite,nice decorated room,lcd tv,some problems with locks.

very romantic

very romantic but first night we saw snake in the street,so it litlle spoiled ours romantlc gateways,because we were in deluxe suite,which is in nice garden,but that snake was in our minds and we couldnt relax in the garden,there is also jacuzi there.Suite starts to show some faults,like locks which is hard to lock,loosing wifi...manager is great and she is willing to help.

wish we could have stayed longer!

We loved having a private garden villa on Samui for a few days. The staff was very helpful throughout our stay and we enjoyed the breakfasts cooked just for us on our villa's porch. Cheong Mon beach is pretty and relaxing, and only a short walk from the hotel. If we didn't want to walk, the manager was available to take us there on the golf cart. I didn't realize it until we left, but I think the hotel provides a free airport shuttle so make sure you call the hotel before or upon arrival in Samui!

excellent stay

We stayed here last week for 4 nights and I can only say that our heavenly Samui experience was enhanced by staying here. Everthing from large rooms to bed, patio, garden, bathroom was super. Set in a quiet n peaceful location of choeng mon away from hustle n bustle of chewang n lamai. We have to add that excellent service n welcome was provided by villa manager Ong n her team. Ong was very helpful, warm n efficient. She is really thoughtful n very helpful. Would love to come back
