"Our stay at the Apache Motel was great! We stayed in the John Wayne suite and it was the perfect tribute to the western legend! The room was clean and comfortable, plenty of space. The shower had the best water pressure. For this to be an older motel, it is well cared for. Definitely a place to experience. It was raining the day we stayed, but the pool area looked very inviting."

"Sadly, Sorel is too expensive for what it is. It's obvious it used to be amazing but it's in need of a maintenance team and general refreshing. The rooms are clean but old. The hotel is seriously understaffed (one poor waiter in the restaurant) and the front desk staff is hit or miss. There are lightbulbs out all around the property and everything needs a fresh coat of paint. The daily expeditions, scenery and location of the hotel are great and why I'm giving the hotel 4 stars instead of 3. We did the Canyonlands tour, UTV tour and horseback riding. All of the staff running those activities were fantastic and are working hard. We didn't receive any services from the spa and can't speak to that. "
