This was the fourth or fifth time that I have stayed at the Kempton Hotel. I have always found it a property that provides value for money. The staff are helpful and courteous; rooms are clean; breakfast offers a variety. The hotel is also very centrally located. I will choose to stay there again when I next visit Kolkata.

My Hotel Kempton Kolkata Home

Hotel Kempton was as good this stay as it ever has been. The staff are welcoming and always available to help with any need. They make you feel at home. The food is amazing, from the great breakfast to the amazing choices on the room service menu. I will never stay any place else in Kolkata.

Etter fullført booking, i en liten bisetning som jeg tilfeldigvis oppdaget ble det opplyst om at hotellet ikke har en respsjon og ankomsten må avtales på forhånd. Likevel var det en slags resepsjon på dagtid og inn/ utsjekking var uproblematisk. Hotellet ligger i en forholdsvis 'stillere' gate i ellers veldig travel og skitten strøk med en del løshunder som ikke er noe hyggelig sak om natten. Rommet og fasiliteter er så som så, men antakelig ganske ok sammenlignet med mye annet som tilbys i India. Har du sjansen, ta heller 4-stjerner og oppover i en vestlig kjede for å unngå skuffelser. Dette passer kun når alle andre alternativer er utilgjenglige som på våre datoer. Komfort for betalt krone er ikke noe skryte av her, men det var i alle fall et sted å være de dagene i måtte tilbringe i denne byen. Virkeligheten er en god del slitnere enn på bilder hos expedia. Ha med ekstra rull med dopapir om hotellet glemmer å etterfylle som i vårt tilfelle.

I booked executive room,but they provide me premium room.As it was at the front,too much noise at night and it was difficult to sleep. Overall nice location,nice breakfast and nice available meal for other times.Employees are well behaved.

The room should have facial tissue paper. I came to know that it is not there in the inventory! In most of the 4 Star & below hotels do not keep it. But we know its necessit. Goof to mention about the class behavior by all the staffs.... amazing. For them, I would be a repeated guest here. Food quality is another sector to mention specially the sumptuous breakfast with varieties.

I has registered my kids while booking but during during checking they asked me extra money for the kid's occupancy. The rooms are really small and not worth the money. We got an extra bed but that collapsed as soon as we sat on it. Overall a horrible experience.

The Customer service is very prompt, staff are all friendly, the rooms were tidied every morning and the main attraction was the breakfast. There were quite variety of food and choices. I will recommend this hotel to friends and family.

zentrale Lage, unweit vom Garden Eden, gutes Frühstücksbuffet, geräumiges Zimmer und für die Altstadtlage ziemlich ruhig. Sehr guter Service und große Hilfsbereitschaft, allerdings sprechen nicht alle Englisch! Kein Warmwasser aus dem Handwaschbecken; Zimmerreinigung muss täglich beauftragt werden, damit nicht ungebetene "Gäste" Zutritt haben! Zeitweise kein WLAN Access.
