Breathtaking ocean views and spacious living accommodations await you at this newly fully renovatedfabulous 3 bedroom 3.5 Bathroom Makahuena Condo in Poipu. Well appointed fully equipped kitchen, accommodating up to 6-8 people, in a total of 1300 square feet of living space.
Centrally located in the heart of Poipu, Makahuena 2-302 offers resort amenities and beach access all within walking and short driving distance. Makahuena Resort is perched on a rocky point above the ocean in Poipu. This unit has ocean views and access to the pool, tennis court, hot tub and BBQs. The property is within an 8-10 minute walk to the beach. Witness breathtaking sunrises and sunsets from the over-sized ocean view lanai overlooking the pool and explore the coastal walkways leading to resort amenities, Shipwreck’s Beach, Poipu Beach Park, The Grand Hyatt Resort, casual and fine dining , gourmet grocery stores and weekly farmers markets.
Air Conditioning- Hawaii is known for its trade winds. Many homes on Kauai have been designed for "open airflow" using screened windows and screened sliding doors, and DO NOT have air conditioning. Please be sure and confirm when making your reservation whether the home you have chosen does or does NOT have air conditioning. Depending on the season, or even the day, temperatures typically range between 74 to 84 for the highs, and 60 to 74 for the lows, year-round. Refunds or discounts ARE NOT given for lack of Air Conditioning in a property.

We had a wonderful stay here- watching whales and the sunset from the deck was an added bonus. This condo was so close to the activities and beaches- it was a great spot for us to enjoy!

Great condo with lots of room. Each room has its own bathroom which really helps when you have the whole family together. We enjoyed watching the sunsets from the balcony each evening. We videoed a whale as it passed by the condo on Christmas morning. We really enjoyed our stay.

We loved our stay here :) close proximity to the airport and the beach is only a walk away! This was one of the few places we were able to find that had three separate bedrooms that could all accommodate adults comfortably without breaking the bank. So happy with our stay! :)

It's in a wonderful location because we could walk to Shipwreck Beach, Brennecke Beach, and Poipu Beach. My friends and I loved swimming in the pool and lounging in the hot tub.

Great stay with 2 adult daughters. Everyone had their own space. The AC was great as it was hot. The balcony is nice but has direct sun exposure in the afternoons from the setting sun. Kitchen is well stocked including foil. No condiments except for salt and pepper. Lots of cleaning supplies. Loved being able to walk the cliff path to the Hyatt and the other direction to Poipu Beach.

We really enjoyed our stay in this amazing location! Walking distance to Poipu beach where the turtles come up on shore to rest every evening. We appreciated the place being well stocked on the basics. It was perfect for our family!

This condo is in a great location - quiet neighborhood and close to shops/beaches. The property manager was very responsive and answered all questions quickly. We had a great time with everything except for the upstairs bathroom is super small and the bathroom door was not functional. It was also a surprise to find that the upstairs bedroom did not have a door itself.

Comfortable, clean recently remodeled. Lots of stairs Could be a problem for seniors and young children. Baths are small but serviceable. Great location. Short walk to Poipu beach. Would definitely stay again.

Was perfect place. My teenagers loved the walking distance to Brenneckes and Poipu beach where they love boogie boarding and snorkeling. Beach equipment was provided. Good layout. Worked great. Corey was very helpful and informative.

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful home! It was a short walk to the beach and there was a ton of beach gear there to use. The community is very quiet and everyone was very nice. Communication with Corey was excellent and he gave us some great recommendations on things to do. Our favorite thing about the house was the lanai - we spent every evening there watching the spouting and breaching whales, the spinner dolphins putting on a show, and the gorgeous sunset. We cannot wait to return!

This condo was everything we hoped for-perfect location, clean and comfortable. There was nothing missing from the kitchen, bathrooms, or bedrooms that we needed. There were a lot of extras that we didn’t expect. Property manager communicated exceptionally well and went above and beyond to answer questions.
