"Die Unterkunft war okay, aber insgesamt eher durchwachsen. Die Bezeichnung 'Ferienwohnung' war etwas großzügig gewählt. Die Sauberkeit ließ zu wünschen übrig, und die Möbel wirkten stark abgenutzt und provisorisch. Hinzu kommt eine Baustelle direkt vor dem Balkon – wer länger als bis 8 Uhr schlafen möchte, wird es schwer haben. Für den aufgerufenen Preis hätte ich mehr erwartet. Durch die zentrale Lage war man aber schnell am Strand, Bahnhof etc."

Man spürt, dass das Ehepaar Priegnitz hier mit Herzblut bei der Sache ist. Ein großes Lob auch an die Appartementbetreuung, wo man auch mit Rat&Tat behilflich ist und sich...

Grundsätzlich war es sehr sauber. Die Teppichfliesen im Schlafzimmer sind etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig und ich habe ihnen nicht vertraut. Leider ist die Heizung (Nachtspeicher) schwer zu bändigen und eigentlich durchgängig an gewesen - in der kühlen Jahreszeit blöd.
Das Bett (nicht das Schrankbett) war höchstens ok.

"Simple basic clean utilitarian apartment. The grounds are simple, mostly hardscape, surrounded by man-made waterways, and have a playground, trampoline, and giant chess set for kids. The second floor loft has a very steep staircase/ladder to get to it, so not appropriate for anyone with orthopedic challenges - we are all fit and young and it was tricky to get suitcases up there. We got the package with linens and breakfast and all was fine although they didn't give us pillow cases for the second set of pillows that would have been useful for sitting up in bed. Parking is a short walk from the apartments in a fenced area that is locked at night (you can get in with your room key). Breakfast per person was morning buns (2), dark rye (rug brod, 1 slice), fruit flavored yogurt (1), apple juice box (1), butter, jam, cream cheese spreads (mushroom, shrimp and ham flavors), coffee and tea with powdered creamer and sugar. Everything was pre-packaged and you pick up a bag from reception every morning and eat it at your apartment. No choices offered. You make the coffee and tea yourself at your apartment. Easy pretty walk to Ribe, with paths through the cemetery which has nice vegetation. Ribe is a really charming town with lots of restaurants and well worth the trip. Recommend the (free) night watchman tour."

"Prided for being the oldest hotel in Denmark, you can feel its history the moment you step into the lobby, with its charming period furnishings. If you want a true taste of history, this is the place to stay. The rooms are adequate and warm, though ours had a rather slanted floor. The location is excellent.. right next to the cathedral and at the start of Ribe’s old street, two of the town’s main attractions. A small hiccup during check-in: there was no one at reception, and calls to the provided number went unanswered, which meant we couldn’t access the private parking. Breakfast, however, was fantastic, with a nice variety of options."

"The property had flaking paint in bedroom looked like water damage. Overall cleanliness was poor lots of dust and cobwebs particularly upstairs behind sofa bed. Covers off sockets in two rooms. Lamp needs attention upstairs. Needs curtains in bedrooms to block out the light. We have stayed at this resort three times never had issues before."
