Freundliches Personal, köstliches Frühstück, mit allem, was das Herz begehrt (Oliven, selbst gebackener Kuchen, Saft, echter, griechischer Joghurt, natürlich Schinken, Käse, Marmelade, Butter, Brot). Einzig eine Kaffeemaschine hat Einzug gefunden. Mobiliar, Zimmeraufteilung - alles stilsicher. Allerdings sind Dusche und Toilette jetzt im Zimmer untergebracht. Wer sich im Oktober über die Einsamkeit eines einsamen Bergdorfes beschwert, ist selber schuld"

TROKADERO BOUTIQUE HOTEL

8/10 Good

"Inexpensive room on the beachfront. Great stay away from all of the tourists in Delphi/Arachova. Convenient location to restaurants and markets. Nice balcony. Decent breakfast. The A/C in the room wasn’t great-it didn’t help that the common areas of the hotel weren’t air conditioned and the room key had to be the slot in order to get A/C—so every time we left the room the A/C stopped and had to start over when we returned. Certainly a bargain and we stay here again if we were in the area."

"Efi was amazing to work with and her property is absolutely beautiful. She's got at least a 180 view of the Corinthian Gulf, with balconies that stretch the entire length of her property. Every room had either a very large window and/or a glass door to the balconies with a beautiful view to the Gulf. What was also very nice about the property and it's location is that within a very short walking distance were many different restaurants and different types of stores. Even mentioned to Efi that if there was a way that I could get out of our other reservations we made in Greece, that I would love to just remain at her place. But the very best thing about Efi's property is Efi! She is very kind and hospitable, and a pleasure to work with. Definitely hope to be back sometime soon!!!"

"The place was clean and well maintained. Paint looks new. Ground was neat and orderly. Host was helpful and knowledgeable. I can't think of anything that would improve the experience I had. Perhaps I could have stayed longer would be the only way to have had more fun. So much to see and do but so short of a trip."

"Be prepared for a small but very cozy studio apartment. It's amazing how well they use the small space to provide wonderful amentities. The communication with the host was early and as often as we needed. Very friendly and attentive. The cottage has old world charm but is clean and great wifi, making it well suited to modern needs. We had a nice fire and there's a great heater (and ac if needed). Perhaps could be a little drafty in the winter but we were there in late April and had both cold rain (45 degrees Fahrenheit) and warm sun (75 degrees F) and were perfectly comfortable and cozy. The little village is picturesque and we found good food near by and also used the stove and small fridge. Really felt like we had left the USA far behind and embraced a truly Greek mountain village life for a few days. Oh there's lots to do in the area. If you're there in winter, there's obviously skiing/snowboarding at Parnassous but in spring, summer, fall you're within an hour drive to Delphi, Arachova, Pavliani forest park, Themopolea (don't be too shy to soak in the hot gates!), the sea at Itea/Kirra and much more. I almost hate to leave such a great review for fear of drawing to much attention to this remarkable gem of a place. Perfect place for a couple, small family or solo artist retreat."
