"Very good option for a budget motel. Clean, comfortable bed, plenty of hot water. Like all at this very low price point, there's some wear and tear, but they try very hard and do many small things better than expensive hotels. Breakfast is minimal, but adequate and better than some other extremely low-cost places. Wi-fi not so good, but you can't expect everything at this price."

"The house was absolutely beautiful! For my bachelorette, my friends and I went white water rafting at Ohiopyle. This house was about an hour drive away, but it was so beautiful and we loved the wooded location that we still booked it. It definitely met our expectations, I will be coming back with family!"

"The description and location of the property was precisely as advertised. No surprises whatsoever and we enjoyed our stay in the home very much. What cannot be "seen" or "viewed" on the site is the degree to which Lisa, the host, communicated and assisted in every component our visit. When asked for recommendations for hikes, activities and restaurants in the area, she not only provide information, but also wise guidance based on her own experiences. She made the entire process from booking through check-out incredibly simple even helping change the reservation when VRBO systems weren't cooperating. Additionally, her response time to inquiries was nearly always immediate. If you are looking for a deciding factor in choosing one option over another in the Laurel Highlands, this property's host should make that decision easy!"

"Lisa’s mountain retreat is very clean, beautiful setting, close to many outdoor activities. We live in Florida so the mountains and surrounding beautiful area was a treat for us. Very attentive host, great place for families, my Granddaughters loved the treehouse loft! Awesome front porch for morning coffee or evening cocktails, everything we needed and more! "Overall a very pleasant stay. Check-in was a simple process. Our group of 10 had plenty of room to spread out and plenty of room to gather in the large living room area. The kitchen was spacious and well appointed (extra points for having both Keurig-style and a regular drip coffee makers!). Communication with the owner was generally good, except when she was briefly out of the country for professional business reasons. Unfortunately the air-conditioning was not working properly, but after the second night the outdoor temperatures cooled enough to provide a pleasant breeze with the windows open. The resort has a wonderful play area for children as well as some wonderful pools attended by professional lifeguards.Be sure and stock up on groceries before you arrive, as the nearest "real" grocery store is almost 30 minutes away in Somerset. "
