Great All Inclusive resort

Our first all inclusive. Extremely clean and with lots of things to do. Close to Kos Town for day trips to Turkey. Great range of food and activities. Fully family friendly - no rowdy groups. Very enjoyable.

It is not 5 star hotel

It is pool hotel, if you dont like sea you can go this hotel, Foods are average, drinks and coctails etc are not satisfied, and good quality It was very crowded , it is long distance to go anywhere at the hotel, you should get shuttle in the resort, and no shuttle from hotel to city center.

la struttura nel contesto è molto bella e i servizi bar e ristorante sono funzionali e di buona qualità, i punti dolenti sono le camere piccole e con letti scomodi e i bagni nn certo confortevoli per essere un resort a 5 stelle... La spa con piscina interna e eterna ad acqua fredda nn viene usata da nessuno e la spiaggia e ben attrezzata ma è posizionata nella zona peggiore dell'isola con mare sempre mosso e profondo dai primi metri ... Nel contesto un bel posto ma nn il resort 5 stelle per cui abbiamo pagato e che ci aspettavamo. Necessaria assolutamente la buona conoscenza della lingua inglese per fare qualsiasi cosa nel resort.

Ferie der ungene knapt rakk å sove!

En uke på Blue Lagoon på Kos med tre unger på 9.10 og 12 år. De kjedet seg ikke et sekund med stort basseng, Aqua land, animation team og underholding på kveldene. Veldig bra for oss voksne også!

Not for families

Our family (two adults a 3-year old and an infant) stayed there for one week. The resort is in ok conditions and I would definitely recommend it for senior couples - not for families because of: 1) a terrible laundry service I had to get a qoute (I estimate around 150EUR) for washing of two machines with baby-clothning (we had it done in Kos town for 10 EUR), 2) playgrounds for kids are terrible - the night shows were ok, however, 3) no heated swimming-pool for kids, 4) dinner was served too late for kids, 5) no Wifi in the rooms only around lobby. The staff were very friendly expect chief of lobby who denied accesss to one of my family member in the lobby who were not a guest - we were about to transfer vacation-pictures for 10 min. He was very unpleasent and I still have his bad behaviour in mind two weeks after the vacation. Overall conclusion: If you are a senior couple just wanting to relaxe it is definitely worth it (relative good food and ok suroundings with nice staff (except the abovementioned fellow). If you are a family I strongly suggest that you find another hotel/resort. And a last tip. DO NOT rent a car at the hotel lobby they are too old, too expensive and we could not use the A/C do to a really bad smell from the A/C - and you need your A/C driving in Kos.

Veldig serviceinnstillt personale og god og variert mat. Fantastiske bassengområder spesiellt for barn, men også for voksne. Stort hotell med alt du trenger, men du bør ikke forvente så mye dersom du vil oppleve mye utenom hotellet.

Topp all inclusive ferie

Etter 14 dager på Blue Lagoon Resort kan jeg trygt anbefale dette barnevennlige hotellet med 5 resturanter å velge mellom, fasiliteter for både barn og voksne - noe for enhver smak. Resorten hadde også eget spa, idrettsanlegg og strand ved sjøen - og sykkelutleie mm tvers iver gaten. Servicen var topp og maten hadde høy kvalitet. Eneste som trakk ned litt var gamle crt-TV'er plassert i 2-roms -familierommene vi hadde boooket. Det manglet også bord og stoler der. Stedet er perfekt for barnefamilier -men også for voksne uten barn.

Not overly impressed

Personally I found the size of the complex too large and going mid October 2 of the 3 restaurants you could book to eat at were closed. The main dining hall was too much like a school canteen although the food was overall very good. Perhaps a little too far "out of the way" for alternative evening entertainment. The pool music and entertainment was far too loud, to be honest I thought I was at the Greek version of Butlins!

Depends what you are looking for I guess. The hotel is clean and the staff are generally good but if you are expecting a true five star hotel, this isn't it. The rooms are very "institutional". Small hard beds, small bathroom, bad tv's. The food is pretty generic with the odd bright spot. No coffee in the restaurant after dinner? We are beach people and Kos might not be the place for you if you are as well. The beach closest to the hotel is pretty dismal. The best one I could find was behind the main tourist drag about a 15 minute bike ride away.

great hotel

Loved this hotel. We travelled with a 2 year old child and his grandparents but there was a good mix of ages and nationalities. Food excellent and it was nice that there was 3 restaurants to choose from however the food was pretty much the same in each. During the day you can help yourself to drinks including red/white wine and lager which in 1 area is a help yourself tap. I was initally concerned about the quality of the local 'inclusive' drinks from past all inclusive experiences but the white and red wine was really nice. This is a large hotel complex but the staff at the hotel are really friendly, will stop and say hello and always seems to remember who you are. The 1 slight negative for us was, as we have a 2 year old child it would have been nice to have a play area for his age group, there is a small play area for older children and the hotel run kids club starts from 4 years plus.We were in the main complex which has a kids pool area but we would often go to the satalite buildings kids pool which was about a 5 minute walk away which I think is better for toddlers as it had a paddling pool which the main hotel does not. The satalite building also had a piano bar which made a nice relaxing evening. We would definately go back to this hotel in the future.
