"Absolutely stunning hotel. Extremely clean and all staff were so helpful; the bakery in the lobby had fresh food daily which was delicious. Well situated for the Gion district and Kiyomizu-dera temple."

"The hotel itself is conveniently located in Kyoto station, and incredibly easy to reach for international travelers flying into Kansai International. Because it is right at the central exit of the station it is also easy to get a taxi to anywhere in the city, though depending on where you are going you may need to take another rail line. What stood out to me more than anything is the great hospitality we received and the lengths to which the exceptional reception and concierge staff went to help us. Both my colleague and I left our ties at home, and at 7:00am needed to urgently purchase ties for a meeting at 9:00am. The young lady at reception worked together with the concierge staff to find a place that was open, and have them hold the ties at the register for us. We did not expect them to be able to help, but they truly go the extra mile for their guests. Exceptional service! Will definitely choose to stay here again on future visits to Kyoto!"

"Very clean hotel, good size room. Great breakfast. Very good value for the price in a great location near Kyoto station. The staff were very helpful in recommending places to see or eat, and helping us set up reservations at restaurants as our Japanese is very limited."

"Lovely stay at this hotel, beautiful room with a great view, nice public bath in the basement, very helpful and friendly staff. Only negative is that there is only 1 washing machine available to males (2 for females) but as there were no females in our group there was a long way to use the washing machine. Would definitely stay again."

"It was a nice little Place for what I needed. I spent most of the time traveling around but it was good for a place to sleep and shower. The breakfast was good early in the morning and they do offer Dinner too but I did not take advantage because of the good food in Japan."
