"As we were checking in my 4 year old sat on the lobby couch which was from 1960 and he happened to put his feet on the furniture then the clerk proceeded to yell at him to put his feet down. Once we walked to our floor the entire place smelled like an ashtray, same for the actual room. Furniture in the room is from 1960’s as well, no usb plugs, we were 5 guests but only had 3 pillows in the room, one bed was a roll out cot. Mini fridge had residue from prior guests, mold in shower. "I had a 16 hour layover in Narita and this hotel was perfect to explore Narita City. I was also able to catch up on some much needed sleep before my next flight. Staff was extremely friendly, the free airport shuttle service was excellent, and the room had everything I needed as a solo traveler."
