"A charming boutique hotel in Nuwara Eliya! My family and I had a great stay here, the hospitality was second to none. From the welcome cup of tea to the morning breakfasts and games for the children, the colonial style was fantastic and made for a very welcome stay. The beds were conformable, the deluxe room had a lot of space and all the amenities you needed were provided. Highly recommended."

"The hotel is just out of the hussle and bustle of Kandy city - about a 15min Tuktuk ride. Perfect to see all the sights in and around Kandy and then come back and relax in peace and quiet. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the owner arranged trips and drivers in and around the Kandy area. The food is was amazing particularly Hassida's vegetable curry! "

"We loved our stay at Kandy Shady Trees thanks to the very welcoming and accommodating nature of our hosts. The room we stayed in was large and very comfortable and breakfast was fresh and substantial. The location is up a steep hill (we took a tuk tuk up and down it) but could be walked. "Its a property about 7 km away from town. Its a beautifully built property . As i understand it has 6 rooms, and a pool table in the loft. Great staff. There is no lift but its not an issue. There are small things they need to see to. Like salt and pepper shakers ( rather than sticking your fingers into the salt/pepper jar. ) there are no tissues in the room/bathroom. No hand washers - but lovely towels. The scenery from the small restaurant is amazing. This is place i may stay at again"
