"Hotel only good for local peoples, this is not good for foreigners, it‘s an average hotel"

"This is a fantastic homestay location, and called "resort hotel in Thumboly" by some of the local auto drivers. I booked this on an impulse travel through hotels dot com website and fully enjoyed my stay. The owner (Mr. George) and the manager Mr. Shibu were prompt with communication and helpful. Mr. Shibu spoke to the auto driver via my phone call and guided him correctly. Google maps does a solid job too. Location is about 4ish km from Alappuzha railway station and about 2km from main...

"Comfortable location in the vicinity of tourist attractions, cozy homestay, owners were very polite and readily helpful, they always greeted with a polite face and very customer friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable, not many amenities provided (low pricing so understood), WiFi was decent in the room we stayed. Overall felt at home."

"It was on a good location. Accessible by public transport. But no parking space. The cleanliness of the room bas average. Also got a feeling that they won't clean/change the bed after the previous guests are checked out."

"No any amenities provided, fully smelly and musquitos, bathroom very bad, no any shetts in good, pillow may be above 10 years old, little bit better than Street sleep "

"It is a room in an unkempt old house, with no security at night. No breakfast included. Expedia showed three rooms, 2 AC rooms and one non AC. We booked AC room making full payment online. At the time of check out the caretaker asked us to pay extra money for the room, saying it is a special room. We felt it is too much for that kind of facility."

"Despite me having 5 e-mails to the establishment that i was arriving late (2 am) there was no attempt to organise entry. I had to sleep on the floor outside the apartment that morning. The apartment was comfortable and value for money but it was showing its sge. There was no internet and tv was inoperable. I had the apartment to myself but it could have got pretty crowded if all the rooms were occupied."

"Nice hotel for overnight stop . Lovely to look off back balcony and see water buffalo, wild pigs , native mongoose and the Indian jungle. The location is good with a wine and beer restaurant next door and a number of local tourists shops along the street. It is also located very close to the bus departure for the boat jungle cruises. The only downside we had were the pilled sheets with lumpy little balls, no coffee or tea facility , no safe, no food at all. However we would recommend the hotel...

"The family who own the homestay are so friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. The rooms are basic but immaculate with very good a/c. Breakfast was delicious and the location is central to all of the attractions of fort cochin "

"Stayed in the facility for 2 nights. It was pleasing, away from the town but within easy reach. The hosts were extremely friendly and polite. The food was very homely and the food service as well. The ayurvedic massage was awesome. Could have stayed for another day if time permitted."
