"The property has been in the owners family since the 1500s. The place was rustic and quaint. Very quiet. It is literally in the middle of the woods. We were there for Ironman race in Lahti, so it was a bit far out for the event. There is limited accommodations in Lahti for an event this size. As a result we just slept there and kept our things there. The price was reasonable for the property. The only issue we had was with Interhome who is the manager of the rental. "Lovely cottage, very clean, but it needs tidying around the garden area and general maintenance work. Patio chairs were broken. Good for short stay but for longer stay it needs to have more kitchen equipment to cook meals. Our cottage was set up high with beautiful views to the lake. Pontoon was great but the access to the lake was difficult as the steps were broken. With a few changes in and around the cottage you could easily get five stars. We enjoyed our stay."
