"Onsen outside on the river was fantastic and perfect after a day walking. Breakfast was limited and dining options with walking distance very limited. Room was large and traditional Japanese style was extremely comfortable to sleep. "

"The price was the best in the city, but this is no hotel as you can find somewhere else. Check-in and check-out was ok. There is no private shower, and with the rain, the ceiling was leaking. Okay-ish hotel. Messages you receive from the owner must be translated in English with Google Translate, but the check-in process pdf is in English."

"Tried to check out and could not as they did not have staff to take payment. Had to leave to make it to bus in order to catch my train and flight. Has to go to extraordinary lengths to pay them after. Also extremely overpriced for this hotel, would never come back."

"Whole hotel looks like it was good 20 years ago and someone just forgot to do anything with it since. We booked a non smoking room but when we entered the room the smoke was so heavy I could taste it and there were burn marks all over the carpet. We asked to be moved and got a new room which smellt like a mixture of smoke and peppermint airfreshener to hide it. At least in this room it was still manageable. Stains in the carpet but bedlinnen and bathroom were clean. Personell was friendly...

"Great onsen hotel in a peaceful location. Restaurant was nice. The front desk clerk, Imai, was very helpful in helping me in reserving a ferry for later in my trip as my Nihongo was limited. "

"This hotel looks new and modern, very cozy. There’s no cafe within the hotel but there’s a small pantry with free coffee, microwave oven and table/chairs for us to have our drinks. We drove around 3-5 mins to restaurant and convenience store. Self service laundry at ¥500 for wash, ¥100/20 mins for drying. room wise, pretty spacious with a small couch by the window. Overall a really beautiful hotel, highly recommended. "

"When I first tried this hotel, I used the daily use onsen. I fee; in love with the cave onsen. We now stay at least two nights ove night to use the floor 33 onsen as well as the cave onsen. They have a nice breakfast and dinner buffet. We like the Western style room with western beds as well as a living room/dining room that you can have the Japanese futons."
