It was incredibly western, and consisted of only fruits and breads. If you wanted meat, it would be made in the western way. It is also incredibly remote. This in itself is not a bad thing. "We stayed here for 5 nights and had a really great stay, we were a bit nervous after reading some reviews about noise level, but it was pretty quiet for the most part but YMMV.
The A/C unit took a bit to get to the sweet spot and the building was a bit dinged up in spots, but the staff even with limited English was very sweet and accommodating.
If location and price are two of the big checkmarks for you than I think Salty Sand is a good choice. If potential noise and partying isn’t for you...
