"2nd Foss Hotel we stayed in as part of a ring road trip. I do feel the Foss hotels are expensive for what they are. A lot of style on offer but lacking in other ways. Room had a balcony with a view to the lake and mountains. All very stunning. Room itself was small but good storage options. Food prep was forbidden in rooms (a theme with Foss) but at least there was a kettle in this one. No sound proofing at this hotel. "Wonderful cabin! This cabin is so cute and well designed. Also the staff are very kind and helpful. It’s in a campground as other reviewers have noted, but the cabin is in a very quiet spot, it felt private to us! We were unaware that the Myvatn area is known for its many flying midges and unfortunately the cabin didn’t have screens to keep them out! We would have loved to bring in some fresh air and sit outside on the cabin’s deck!"
