"This is a lovely new hotel on a convenient location for the Tromso to Lofoten drive or vice versa. It is also close to the Hurtigruten museum which is so interesting to visit on a wet day. The hotel is modern and spacious with an aesthetic bar area design. Cocktails were professionally made. Dinner was also good, if limited in choice. Superb breakfast selection. Our room had a high quality bed, tv and effective blackout curtains, a Norwegian summer necessity. We thought this hotel was excellent...

"My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Just getting to the hotel (over a narrow mountain road) was an adventure in itself, but it was well worth it. The fisherman's cabin was cozy and comfortable, with all amenities included. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and there was a lovely little restaurant which served both traditional Norwegian dishes (such as fish and reindeer) but also some very good vegan dishes (which was quite an unexpected surprise).
