The Space:

Villa Valena 6 is a compact yet characterful studio that blends comfort with a Caribbean feel.



The apartment features one bedroom with a king-size bed and one bathroom. The open-plan kitchen connects directly to the living area and is equipped with a stove, refrigerator, freezer, coffee maker, and kettle. Outside, a private balcony is yours to enjoy, along with the shared pool deck and garden. A dining table and outdoor furniture complete the setup for comfortable living indoors and out.

Good to know:

- Stairs: the studio is on the second floor, accessible by stairs. Please keep this in mind if you have mobility concerns or are traveling with a lot of luggage.

- No dryer: there is no clothes dryer, but on Bonaire the tropical sun and steady trade winds will have your laundry dry within a few hours.

- No dishwasher: the kitchen is otherwise well equipped; washing up with the warm Caribbean evening as your backdrop is really no hardship at all.



Guest Access:

As a guest of Villa Valena 6, you have full access to the entire studio: the bedroom with king-size bed, the bathroom, the open-plan kitchen and living area, the private balcony, and the shared complex facilities including the communal pool, pool deck, and garden. Free parking is available on the premises and on the street directly in front. To welcome our guests personally and share everything they need to know about the property and Bonaire, all arrivals are handled in person by our team. The Sunwise hosts for Villa Valena 6 will coordinate your arrival time with you in advance.



The Neighborhood:

Kralendijk's center, with its waterfront boulevard, docks, sailboats and motorboats moored at buoys, and colorful facades: Villa Valena 6 puts you right in the middle of restaurants, bars, boutiques, and the departure point for a variety of boat trips, including sunset tours and water taxis to Klein Bonaire. Perfect for those who want everything within walking distance and love an evening stroll along the waterfront. Divers and snorkelers will appreciate the quick access to west coast dive sites, while food lovers and shoppers will feel right at home. Expect vibrancy, convenience, and the shortest travel times to all the amenities Kralendijk has to offer.



Villa Valena 6 is approximately 1.1 kilometers from Van den Tweel supermarket, 2.3 kilometers from Dive Friends Yellow Submarine dive center, 500 meters from Chachacha Beach, 900 meters from the center of Kralendijk and 550 meters from At Sea restaurant.



Sunwise insider tip: Don't let the name fool you, at 1000 Steps you'll only need to descend about 67 steps to reach the beach below. This iconic dive and snorkel site on Bonaire's west coast is famous for its impressive reef wall that begins just offshore. Snorkelers will find crystal-clear water teeming with reef fish, while divers can follow spectacular coral formations into the deep. The beach itself is narrow and secluded, but the underwater world more than makes up for it. Be sure to bring plenty of water, you'll have to climb those steps on the way back up!



Getting Around:

Bonaire and especially the hotspots like Washington Slagbaai National Park, the remote pristine beaches, and the kitesurf and windsurf locations, are best enjoyed with a rental car, as our lovely Caribbean island has so much more to offer beyond the immediate surroundings of Villa Valena 6. With your own car you can explore remote snorkel spots, dive sites and local restaurants at your own pace. We strongly recommend renting a car so you can get everywhere easily. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like the park, a pickup truck or SUV is advisable. The park roads are unpaved and sometimes rough, making a regular car less suitable. There is no public transport on Bonaire and taxis are limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is in port.



Other Things to Note:

Check-in to Villa Valena 6 is from 3:00 PM and check-out is until 10:00 AM. Early arrival or late departure may be possible on request, depending on other reservations.
