"We are the type of travelers that do not spend much time in our hotel room because we are out and typically return in the evening so as a result of this, but do require the hotel we stay to be in a safe area and feel safe when inside. "Wonderful hotel! The location and staff were fantastic. Vic's Bar had delicious food and drinks. The hotel had a sophisticated and upscale atmosphere while being friendly and convenient. The canal view room was stellar. The only thing that was less than ideal for us was the very firm, low bed. However, that may not be an inconvenience for other people. I highly recommend this hotel! "
