"Die Wohnung war sehr kalt und wurde trotz Heizung höher stellen nicht warm ( Außentemperatur waren -11C). Die Wohnungen hatten einen unangenehm geruch ( modrich). Das Bett macht sehr starke Knarrende Geräusche das ich nicht schlafen konnte. "Our one night stay was good, but the listing could use some better descriptors. It is only a one bedroom (not 2) with a living room pull out couch sofa as the second. The bathroom is really tiny, there is no designated parking (only free street parking), and you have to walk 4 flights of stairs (no elevator). All in all a perfectly ok stay. We were happy with the easy walkability to a grocery store and everything in the kitchen was great for cooking ourselves. "

"We stayed here for one night before we took a cruise from the port. It is very central, and right next-door to both the train station and the bus station. "The building is impressive with its great lobby (of perhaps faded art deco glamour) of another era. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is not modern and fancy, but clean and functional. Room was very comfortable. Kiel is spread out and the hotel is a bit far to walk with luggage, as I discovered, but a straight shot to train station and downtown. The terrace in front of lobby was a nice place to sit to enjoy the breezes and chill (it's Kiel!), at least until smokers claim it as their own. The breakfast area is very nice and the breakfast excellent: I highly recommend the breakfast, on its merits, but especially since there are few restaurants nearby."
