"The host for Villa Wirada confirmed our stay in Dec. 2024. Just prior to our travel, the host wrote to say 'sorry I double booked your dates' and I'll find you a like property, which I agreed to. BIG mistake. The property he booked us in was disgusting on every level. fecal matter in the toilet, musty smell in the rooms, dirty sheets, no clean water, etc...he billed us the same price for Villa Wirada, which I imagine is nice. "We had the most wonderful stay in Ubud at lovely Noka House. The villa itself is breathtaking along with its position near paddy fields. Lots of wildlife, birds and insects to keep us company. Nyoman, Ketut and Wayan are so gracious and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Highlights for us are the Balinese people, they are so lovely, and my trip to the Yoga barn on the back of Wayan's scooter was hilarious if not a little bit terrifying.
