"We found out on arrival that the place we’d booked had had a sewage issue so our host had scrambled to find us somewhere else. While we really appreciated that effort and the fact she met us at the ferry so late, the new place wasn’t great. No wifi, no nearby parking and very dusty. We were told it was available for one less day then we’d booked so we said we’d leave a day early rather than her having to find us somewhere else which worked out fine but meant we paid for accommodation for that...

"This was a wonderful stay. The property is location in Zrovno which is a small town on the island. It’s approximately a 5-7minute taxi from the old town or a 45 minute walk (uphill). The accommodation was beautiful and tidy. The hosts were so very kind, thoughtful and friendly. They are also right next to a supermarket which is perfect. "

The biggest issue was that this is not a 2 bedroom apartment, it is a small 1 bedroom apartment with a double bed. When searching I had even used Expedia's filter function to only include 2 bedroom apartments. The people who it belonged to were a charming couple who went out of their way to help us. "Wonderful place. You should rent a scooter if not traveling by car. The only thing missing was a mini fridge/freezer. Not the hosts fault as I should have checked. The staff was attentive and kind. Views are amazing."
