"Nice and comfy room. Beautiful garden with many beautiful birds and other wildlife. Close to the beach. Plus is for the distance to Galle Road (which is very noisy). The dinner was good, but far from great. The curry’s are way to salty. Same as for the breakfast (don’t try the chocolate pancakes). Beautiful place and very friendly staff. - Big minus for the hotels own landfill that you see if you take a walk outside the fences. They should really clean that up. Not ok! "

"Beach was fine , a bit Rough"

"great location, rooms basic but clean, no fridge, friendly staff and nice pool"

"Room was very basic for the cost "

"Very nice place! Quiet and close to the beach (by foot). We had good evenings at the Restaurant. Very friendly People and good organized tours! "

"Lovely boutique hotel around 15 minutes drive from Hiriketiya. Staff were really friendly, the room was clean and practical (although we would appreciate more storage space). Very quiet away from the main road so you won’t hear cars beeping"

"Stayed for two weeks in September 2023. For starters, the host family at Talalla Freedom are wonderful. Helpful, friendly, adjusted to my food allergies, went over and beyond. Rs 250 for a pot of fresh tea. The pool is lovely and well kept, the view and access to Talalla beach is phenomenal (as long as you don't have any mobility issues. Beds are Sri Lanka firm but comfy. You can sit in a nice recliner with your tea and watch the monkeys walk by. The birds in the area are beautiful. Be aware...

"It was a lovely place with very nice hosts and a nice clean room with a comfy bed. It is close to the beach and is located in the city, but away from the noisy road. The welcome drink is delicious, as well as the food they serve ☺️"

"The place is difficult to find, after booking they should send an email with a map to get there. The room is basic but clean. Good size room and bathroom. There is a fan but not a/c and during the night it is quite hot. Only cold water. There is a mosquito net but it is too short so mosquitoes get in the sleeping area. Basic breakfast with bread, jam, bananas and tea. They could provide sri Lankan breakfast if requested. It is possible to use a sort of sun bed provided at the first...

"Having heard about The Last House and one of Bawa's last properties, was keen to experience for myself. I love the property! It's a perfect place to 'flop & drop': positioned on a beautiful clean beach, a stunning pool, great Sri Lankan food and authentic Ayurvedic massage available - a new favourite. Ideal for a special occasion to block out for a small group of family & friends..."

"The staff were excellent and the breakfast amazing. "

"Gingel Harmony nos encantó pero me cobraron dos veces (Hotels.com cuando hice la reserva y cuando llegué a Gingel Harmony). El recibo que me dieron en el hotel no era correcto porque era manuscrito (se había acabado el rollo del datáfono) y no llevaba mis datos. Tras múltiples mensajes con Hotels.com no me lo han devuelto. Ya me he resignado pero espero que sirva a la propietaria y futuros clientes para que no vuelva a pasar. "

"Super nice room and beautiful bed. Very uncomplicated staff. But don‘t forget to call in order to agree on a check-in time... The beach nearby is stunning and so is that Mangroove (or so) Restaurant."

"Værelset var godt. De var dog ved at renovere/lave nye værelser, så det larmede lidt morgen og aften. Restauranten var okay. Dog ikke wifi på værelset."
