Stayed in an executive king suite on the 9th floor. The bed was enormous and very comfortable. Nice view of the castle out the rooms windows. All beverages and snacks in the room were paid for as part of the room price so can be consumed at no extra charge, including alcoholic beverages.

The location is excellent. You can walk to shops, malls, and castle. We didn't have breakfast but had lunch at the restaurant in the hotel. Everything was super delicious. I will stay again!

Wonderful hotel with views of Kumamoto Castle. However, the window in our room didn’t provide as good a view of the castle as we had expected. Hotel is lovely and the staff is wonderful.

We absolutely loved our stay at Kumamoto Hotel Castle! This is a first class hotel located in the heart of Kumamoto City. As soon as you enter the property, you are acknowledged and welcomed by the amazing staff. Our check in process was smooth and we were escorted to our room quickly. The room was immaculate and had a nice modern Japanese feel to it. We loved the furo (soaking tub) especially after a long day of walking and exploring. The location is near to the Kumamoto Castle and you can enjoy great views from the hotel. There’s also a very close shopping district with many vendors and food options. We will definitely return to this hotel the next time we visit Kumamoto City. We highly recommend Kumamoto Hotel Castle!
