Very clean, friendly, central, and had a few amenities, they supplied clean towels everyday and could clean your room if you request it, , good and nice they have the Kumamoto Castle, super nice, they had samurai’s goo you to take pictures either the, the have a long waking area with lots of shops that you can buy souvenirs !! They have a lot of tille restaurants and cafes to try different things!! I needed more time in this city ! I loved it!!

A wonderful stay
We had a wonderful stay, room is nice and clean; front desk service is vey friendly; delicious breakfast; parking lot is only 20 meters away; and hotel is right next to the largest shopping area in Kumamoto, also the convenient store is next door.

As always, room is clean and fully functional, but a little small for 2 opened up luggage. Plenty of amenities at the lobby area including drop coffee. Location is about 5-10 minutes walk from the bus terminal,and right beside Shimotori street with loads of food and entertainment. skippingHas stayed at Sotetsu for our Kanto and Kansai trip previously.

They had a breakfast buffet available. The staff was friendly and helpful. My only problem was the lack of hypoallergenic bedding (I'm allergic to down). Other than that, it was a great place to stay

Excellent location, right next to the shopping street, only about a 5-minute walk from the bus terminal. The room is clean and spacious. It would be better if the breakfast menu could be changed a little.

This place is located at somewhat the end of a shopping street so its quieter yet convenient. The hotel provides the most extensive range of toiletries in the hotel lobby. Breakfast is very good!

It was great friendly staff with a breakfast buffet in the mornings. It is 1500 yen for the breakfast buffet which has local cuisine. The only downside i would say is if you need to do laundry it can get really expensive

Super large rooms! Normally these types of hotels have tiny rooms and you can’t even open a large suitcase on the ground. This room was so spacious you could open up 5 large suitcases and still have space to move around.

They have a magnet sign letting them know if you want your room only towels stocked or if you want your rooms tidied up
Check out was very simple
Check in time is at 3pm but they can hold your luggage in lockers until it’s time
Shops and restaurants around the area to kill the time until it’s time to check in time will go by very quick

It’s a one minute walk round the corner from a huge covered shopping arcade. Lots of food options. The whole check in and check out process was easy. The staff helpfully kept our luggage when we arrived in the morning. The room was very well designed with everything we needed. The breakfast buffet was nice, a mix of Japanese and western breakfast. They included some local dishes which was a nice touch.

First visit to Kumamoto
It was good. The room was spacious and the service we got from the staff pre and at check-in are flawless.
It can be a bit of a challenge to get to the hotel from JR Kumamoto station with luggage as the tram is always full of people the station.
But I really like the fact that it's close to the shotengai area and there are a lot of shops, restaurants and game centres around.
