Huone oli siisti mutta kahvi/teen keitto mahdollisuus olisi mukava lisä. Aamupalaan voisi muuttaa lämpöastioiden suhteen; pekonit lämpimiä vain astian pohjalla, päällimmäiset olivat kylmiä ja melko kovaksi kuivuneita, maistuvimmat pekonit olisivat kuumia ja sopivan rapeita, niitä paistettaisiin tasaisin ajoin ja astian täytöstä huolehdittaisiin, ei niin että kattila täyteen ja kahden tunnin päästä tarkistetaan tilanne. Munavoi maistui kummalliselta, eikö sitä tehdäkään oikeaan voihin?

convenient stopover

Cumulus is just a couple of minutes walk to the rail and bus station so no need for taxis as there is a a bus for 5 euro from the airport. The hotel is quite basic. My single room was very small with only a narrow window near to the ceiling. On my visit there was a large group of young people staying and so I could hear a lot of noisy conversation till late night. On the plus side the breakfast buffet is excellent. Also the hotel is less than a ten minute walk the the main square for shops etc.

Perushotelli aseman vieressä

Sijainti on loistava aseman vieressä. Kätevää jättää tavarat säilöön päiväksi. Aamiainen oli yllättävän hyvä - ainoastaan kukaan ei ollut keräämässä likaisia astioita vaan siivosin itse itselleni pöydän. Kukaan henkiökunnasta ei sanonut huomenta kun tuli aamiaiselle. Huoneeseen kuului liikenteen äänet, koska sijaitsi kadun puolella. Huone oli älyttömän kylmä, enkä saanut ilmastointia puhaltamaan lämmintä ilmaa. Patterit olivat kylmiä. Palelin koko yön. Huone oli kuitenkin siisti ja muuten ok.

Sijainti hyvä, kävelymatkan päässä keskustasta.

Huone oli melko siisti. Sängyssä oleva helmasuojus oli todella likainen, milloinkahan viimeksi pesty. Sama juttu sängyllä oleva pieni päiväpeitto, oikein pöllyinen/likainen. Suihkussa likaa ja näytti homeelta, suihkusermin alareunassa. Edellisen asiakkaan pitkiä hiuksia nurkissa keskeltä pesty, reunoja ei.

A fine place to stay in Kuopio

I chose this hotel because of it being very near the train station and just a few blocks walk from the tori (outdoor marketplace). Nice shower, pillows, beds, breakfast buffet, lobby. There is also an opportunity to borrow bikes to explore the city.

Henkilökunta ja palvelut OK+

Matkustin vaimon ja kolmen koiran kanssa palvelu ok samoin kaikki ravintola ja aamiaistarjoilu. Hotellihuone oli perustasoinen muuten mutta kylpyhuone tuksui viemärille tai käymälälle, ehkä putkivaurio wc pöntön liitoksissa.. Samoin suihkukopi ovien tiivisteet vuotivat ja ko ovet "lonksuivat". Myös kyseinen pesutila oli kookkaalle miehelle ahda. Katosta oli ilmastoinnin poistoventtiili tipahtamassa. Ehkä kylpyhuoneen taso muutenkaan ei vastannut hotellin muuta laatutasoa.

Första besöket

Hotellet var till visa delar gammal och slitet. Rummet var delvis renoverat. Närmast gången och frukostrestaurangen behöver en uppgradering. Tyst och fungerande AC ( + 30 grader ute ) Trevlig personal, bra läge på gåavstånd till järnväg, buss och stadscentrum.. Bra med parkering i området, även om det var lite svårt att hitta alla parkeringsmöjligheterna. De har 2 uteperkeringar, men man kommer från olika gator till dem. Personalen berättade att hotellet kommer troligen at få en ny ägare under året. Med en renovering av vissa utrymmen kommer detta att bli ett toppenhotell.
