The rooms were spacious and came with a furnished kitchen. There was a separate room for the beds and they had a small dining area as well as a lounging area. The room we booked had a great view of Mt. Yotei as well! The hotel was about a 10 minute walk from the center of Hirafu where a lot of the restaurants are located.
The ski valet is on the second floor of the hotel and it is just a short walk to the King Gondola. You are able to ski right to the entrance to the ski valet of the hotel after a skiing, which made it very convenient. You could also leave your skis and boots at the valet in the middle of the day to take a break before going back out for night skiing.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The concierge was very helpful with booking complimentary rides to and from the Hirafu Welcome Center, which is where the shuttle buses drop off/pick up passengers. They were also very prompt with their emails about any inquiries.
The onsen was very clean and not super busy. The hotel provides a complimentary private onsen session, but we didn't feel the need to use it as the onsen was never crowded.
