"This apartment offers a great location for visiting the heart of the Harz region. We had come to ride the Harz railway system and were thrilled to find we had a distant view of the line. Riding steam railway is a must for any visitor. Peter and Gundula made us feel very welcome and we were surprised to learn we were their first visitors from the UK. This region seems to be a undiscovered gem as far as many British visitors are concerned. The apartment is large and offers great value for money....

"Beautiful flat, nice layout and well furnished. Good location…in a quiet residential area but only a 5 minute walk to restaurants and stores. There is a Rewe store just a few minutes walk away for groceries, wine, beer, etc. My only complaint: The apartment has a washer with no instructions and the water was turned off to it. I contacted to host requesting instructions and received no response. The washer either needs to have a sign saying Do Not Use and it should be taken off the apartment...
