Doesn`t look good, but gets the job done

One cannot complain about the location. The value for money is okay, I thought. Calm and okay. The standard... is what it is. Old-school. But things work.

Zentral gelegen aber lieber Finger weg…

Alleine der Eingang ist schon eine Katastrophe kaputte Glasscheiben begrüßen einen eine extrem dunkle Lobby. Ich hatte extra die Junior Sweet gebucht die vielleicht zwar geräumiger als normale Zimmer sind aber sonst auch nichts. Klimaanlage funktioniert glücklicherweise einwandfrei. Leere Minibar, verfallende Möbel, um Klopapier muss man bei der Putzfrau betteln! Von Anfang an bis zum zweiten Tag wurde uns eine viertel Rolle zugestanden. Obwohl wir extra die Zimmerrate mit Frühstück gebucht hatten wurde uns gesagt Frühstück ist nicht inklusive und wir mussten für das sehr überschaubar und die wohnungsbedürftige Frühstück noch mal zusätzlich extra zahlen. Und im Nachhinein mit hotels . com streiten um die Rückerstattung…. Ausgang bist ja offen! Offenbar besteht kein Wille diese Kosten zu erstatten :(. Schade

One young security guard sleeps and was very rude to me and threatened me. The location is fine but staff is horrible.

Can walk from station/voksal.

Older but very well kept hotel near Kiev's Voksal (station). Helpful and friendly reception, room comfy and quiet. Would stay again.

Einfaches, älteres Hotel in Bahnhofnähe

Leider entsprach unser Zimmer nicht der gebuchten Kategorie, so fehlte zum Beispiel der Balkon. WLAN hat im Zimmer nicht funktioniert, jedoch gut in der finsteren Lobby. Sehr einfach eingerichtetes Zimmer und kleines Bad. Das Frühstück war überraschend reichhaltig. Ansonsten kann man für diesen Preis auch in Kiew keine Wunder erwarten. Praktisch war für uns die Lage Nähe Hauptbahnhof und U-Bahn, obwohl der Weg ins Stadtzentrum ohne weiteres auch zu Fuss machbar ist.

Со стороны выглядит ужасно, но внутри ждал приятный сюрприз. Просторная комнаты, удобная кровать, большая ванная комната. Завтрак оставляет желать лучшего, как и общее состояние "ресторана". А еще в номере было холодно, и кондиционер не работал

Bon séjour et bon prix

En lisant les commentaires, j'ai hésité à réserver cet hôtel. Cependant mon expérience d'une nuit était tout à fait correcte. L'enregistrement s'est bien passé avec le personnel qui parle anglais. La vue de la chambre était intéressante sur le park. La chambre avec un lit simple était de taille correcte mais avec une très petite salle de bain. L'hôtel était proche de la gare centrale où on peut prendre le bus pour l'aéroport KBP. Point négatif, moquette de la chambre un peu salle. Autrement, je n'ai pas testé le petit déjeuner. Le métro est à quelques minutes de marche.

Good hotel at the center

Stayed for several days in the hotel. The building is not new but the location, staff, and the service made my stay very pleasant. As described in another review, it’s not the Hilton but it gives you all the basics of an enjoyable stay. Highly recommended to travelers who want to be economical about their travel plans.

Dorm room but good location

It reminded me of a dorm room from university, but it was clean and did the job. Air conditioner would only stay in for 20 minutes st one time, but had large window to open. Close to supermarket and restaurants and downhill to walk to the train station

A éviter!

Le personnel d'accueil n'est pas aimable du tout et n'a pas répondu à mes requêtes : je demandais la veille pour le lendemain de prendre un petit déjeuner plus tôt ou avoir une lunch box (car prenant un avion à 9h50, donc être à l'aéroport à 7h50), et d'une part on me reproche lourdement que je n'avais pas payé le petit déjeuner du jour (alors que j'allais régler les frais supplémentaires à la fin du séjour) et d'autre part on me dit seulement d'attendre l'heure d'ouverture, soit à 7h30! J'ai découvert la chambre avec la porte-fenêtre ouverte, claquant en plein vent. La chambre n'a pas été rénovée, la salle de bains est très petite et mal agencée (accès difficile aux W.C.) et la serrure ne fermait pas à double tour. Il fallait bien s'assurer que la porte était vraiment fermée en sortant de la chambre. Pour le WiFi, des dysfonctionnements dans la chambre et une absence totale dans la salle du restaurant (impossible d'y accéder - on me redemandait de taper sans cesse le code sur mon téléphone). Buffet du petit déjeuner avec peu de choix et musique de restaurant plutôt gênante. Les plats du restaurant sont corrects dans l'ensemble. Enfin, un gardien m'a demandé de fermer la porte accédant aux ascenseurs alors que j'étais chargé pour mon départ! La proximité de la gare est intéressante, mais d'autres hôtels aux alentours offrent un bien meilleur service même si un peu plus chers, avec un personnel d'accueil bien plus sympathique. Bref, je ne recommande pas cet hôtel!

Delusione

Assolutamente non adatto a standard occidentali, pessima colazione. Per lo stesso prezzo si trovano soluzioni molto migliori perfino in Italia dove i prezzi sono normalmente molto più cari. L'arredamento è così malridotto da risultare perfino ridicolo.
