I went to Kyiv for a three-day get away. The hotel was a little hard to find, but once I got there it was really nice. The hotel staff was very friendly, and very accommodating, since I did not speak Ukraine or Russian. The food at the restaurant there was delicious, and it is nearby to the historic districts and tourist sites. From that location, I was able to see a lot of things in a quick amount of time.

For not speaking the same language it went very very smooth. Very clean and a great location. Any difficulties were solved. Only complaint is the walls were a little thin if you have neighboring guests.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 5 night stay at Bontiak Hotel. Starting with the room - it was clean, spacious, with really good blackout curtains (for those 4am sunrises), remote-controlled a/c.Super quiet, first time in Europe I didn't need earplugs.
