"My wife and I stayed at Hotel Avra in September 2026 with two other couples. I cannot say enough good things about our stay. Starting from the exceptional service and communication of the property manager Michail to the comfort of the home and it's location. As an added bonus, within a 2 minute walk was a fantastic family restaurant just down the street from the home."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Cabo Verde. We were there in the beginning of the Fall off-season so our experience was probably different from others' who come in the peak summer and early Fall times. We found the hotel peaceful and the staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast area and outdoor area plus pool look right out at the sea. And there's always a warm coffee or cold beer available a few steps away. The rooms were also clean and well-maintained for the most part. There were a few minor areas where the wear and tear were visible, but nothing that really impacted our stay. The area around the hotel had plenty of dining options, even after the peak season was over, with a nice variety of traditional Greek foods, seafood, cafes, and bars all within easy walking distance. We also had no trouble getting cabs locally or to take us back and forth to Athens. Overall a great experience and we hope to go back someday."

"Location is great for the beach, although the surrounding area to the hotel is very run down. Nice restaurants along the beach area. Bathroom facilities could use an uplift. For the price it was okay."

"The hotel is not at the dock but @ km from the town and the last .25 km is up a very steep hill. But once there the view is very pretty and the grounds exceptionally well maintained as are the rooms. One of the first hotels in Europe to have face cloths too! The owners are delightful, and so helpful. I spent two enjoyable nights and days there and would highly recommend it. Breakfast was a typical cold display with little protein and lots of fresh carbs. The homemade jam was delicious."

"The property is new. I think this is the second year of operation, and it looks well maintained and pretty nice everywhere. The staff are well trained, and they understand the needs of the guests well. The restaurant is fantastic, and the food is very, very, very nice. Breakfast was fantastic, with a very good spread and a great variety, satisfying our family's needs well: my wife, myself, and our three children. The beach was nice as well, and the staff were very helpful there. The kids' swimming pool was also nice, and the restaurant there was also nice. The food was very good, highly recommended, and we hope to visit again soon. My wife and son enjoyed the spa as well, and we enjoyed the indoor swimming pool on the last day of our stay. Highly recommended."
