We loved our time in Kyoto staying at the Double Tree near the Shinkansen station. The room was elegant, clean, and quiet. Breakfast was superb! Fitness center was just right, and not too busy. Such a great place! Only areas for improvement would be to add additional laundry machines and additional parking spaces.

The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was roomy. However, the room was far too small for us to open up our luggage. There were 3 beds for the 3 of us adults but no where near enough room for 3 people to have luggage with them. The breakfast quality was also very so-so. Greeted by English speaking receptionist who is very kind, answered my questions; hotel ambassador walked us out excellent service.... will definitely stay here again next time in kyoto. Also, 5 min walk from Kyoto station.

The breakfast buffet is a great way to start the day. Staff is really attentive to your needs. This is our 3rd time staying here. Really convenient to catch the trains

We had a short but comfortable stay. Hotel was fairly accessible from Kyoto station. Room was nice and fairly spacious, and most importantly, clean. Although the bathroom is on the slightly smaller side, it's not too uncomfortable.
