The hosts were very attentive and helpful, providing info about places to visit and eat among other things. The place I've felt more welcome in my whole 3 weeks in Japan. The guest house was very clean, comfortable and at a good location.

The hotel is really accessible to train station and the staff (Sayaka) is really friendly and accomodating. I would definitely stay again when I get back to Kyoto.

Best hostel in Kyoto
I highly recommend Juyujin if you're staying in Kyoto. The staff including Sayaka are very welcoming and helpful and will go out of their way to make sure you have a good stay. The rooms and bathrooms were always clean and although there is not a lot around the location it's easy to get to where you need to go with the subway around the corner. There also wasn't much noise around.

初めてゲストハウスに泊まりました。チェックイン　 締切２１時ぎりぎりでしたが事前に電話し、とても 親切に対応下さり気持ちよくチェックインできました。 ツインのお部屋をシングルユースで泊まりましたが 圧迫感が無く、ぐっすり寝ることが出来ました。 普段ビジネスかシティホテルばかりなので トイレ、シャワー共同というのに違和感は否めませんが、 清潔感があって快適でした。 近くの和食の美味しいお店も紹介下さり 一人旅なら また寄らせて頂きたいと思います。

アメニティはほとんどないです。ミニマムだけど、アットホームな感じの接客も良かったです。共用スペースも綺麗でした。シーツ交換などもないので、連泊で少し安くなるとよいなー

五条駅から3分。京都駅から歩いても15分ほどでたどり着ける場所にあるゲストハウスです。 周辺はとても静かです。 地下鉄の駅が近いため、観光スポットへのアクセスは良いと思います。 部屋は、清潔感がありました。 お風呂などは共同ですが、そこが気にならなければコストパフォーマンスばっちりです。 従業員の方も気さくな方（おそらく地元京都の方）で、楽しくお話させてもらいました。 また是非、利用させてもらいます。

Super auberge de jeunesse proche du quartier Gion
Super établissement tenu par des filles hyper gentilles et accueillantes, les espaces commun sont propres, notre chambre spacieuse (chambre privée), frigo et tout le nécessaire pour ce faire à manger si l’on veut ainsi que pour se laver. Machine à laver 200¥ (détergent fourni), sécheuse 100¥ (mais prend 2h à 2h30 pour sécher!), serviette de toilette 150¥. Réception fermée de 12h à 16h et de 21h à 8h donc nous avons un code pour rentrer dans la guesthouse. Adresse à recommander car proche à pied de la gare de trains de Kyoto (15min), du quartier Gion (15min) ainsi que du Nishiki foodmarket (10min).
