Room was very spacious with a nice bathroom. Location is very good. And has luup bikes and scooters for easy rental. Staff allowed us to leave our luggage at our room early before check in which is greatly appreciated. Highly recommend this place. I would stay here again.
It’s a small hotel walking distance to Nijo station. There’s also a 24 hour ramen place and Kura which is a revolving sushi restaurant that is close to the hotel.
Was a great stay very conscientious to train station and very close to Kyoto main station. Also a great neighborhood wonderful restaurants near by. People were incredible!! Loved every minute of it!
We were pleasantly surprised by the location and room. It had free laundry services, which is a must when travelling with kids and a free luggage hold.
We found the property clean and spacious with excellent amenities and comfortable beds. The place is mostly self-service and sometimes it feels like you’re the only one staying there, but our interactions with the staff was wholly positive.
The neighbourhood is pretty quiet but the train and subway station are both nearby and the Co-op supermarket nearby was excellent as were the area restaurants.
We’ll have this place in mind for any future visits to Kyoto!
The hotel is mostly self service but the rooms are very spacious (for Japan standard) and is very well connected to JR (7 min walk) and one stop from kioto station. And also has a train station. Local options for breakfast around
The room was extremely spacious and clean, and felt very comfortable in the hotel. It was very close to Nijo station, and there is a big supermarket near by
We really loved the Japanese-style room! We checked in early and the room wasn't ready (as we expected), but we could leave our luggage and go straight sightseeing. When we came back our suitcase was already in the room.
The location is good, a couple of minutes walk from JR Nijo station. There is a great supermarket around the corner, with great food options.
This is a no frills hotel, but we really enjoyed our stay. You can hear if you have a heavy walking upstairs neighbor, but throughout the night it was pretty quiet. There are great laundry facilities onsite that were super easy to use and you don’t have to buy detergent. You just download an app and pay and monitor progress through the app—it was great!
About 7 min walk to Nijo train /subway station. In a residential area so it’s nice and quiet. The room is beautiful and clean. Great spot to stay outside of the main hussle
Very roomy! They have a big room for the rate. We're glad that we've booked here for the last leg of our trip. We had more luggage & more stuff that we were able to pack and still felt relaxed. Thank you.
This hotel is more like an apartment. Very nice place to stay, with good space, nice amenities and close to the bus/train station.
The staff is exceptional! Check in was super easy - we arrived early and the man at the desk apologized that he couldn't let us go to the room, but he did take our bags for us. Later that evening, we went to our room and our bags were there! What a nice touch!
There's also a bike/scooter rental place on site. You use your credit card to start! It worked great!
Down the street, there's a wonderful grocery store - huge, with excellent selection!
A short walk is the shopping/eating area. We had a couple good meals there and did some shopping as well!
Checkout was a breeze and again, the man at the front desk was fantastic!
I highly recommend this hotel!
I had the room with 2 beds and 2 futons. It was perfect for our family of 4. The space was good with enough room to store our luggage and leave our carry on open. The shower riom was great with a snall tub, a drying rod for some easy laundry by hand (otherwise theres coin laundry available). I appreciate that there was access to a microwave and a toaster oven to cook up some easy quick meals that we bought from the Coop grocery thar was 5min away. Within the room is a good mini fridge with a small ice box. Walk to Nijo station was just about 6min. Theres literally a Kura sushi across the street and theres an awesome noodle shop just adjacent from the hotel next to the parking lot in front. I wish i discovered the noodle shop sooner. Its SO good. I was sad i couldnt try their oyster noodle, they only serve 10 bowls of it a day?! Check in and check out was super easy. I showed up early at the hotel, like 130 pr 2pm? They let me have my room early! I was surprised. I was originally just going to leave them my luggage, so it was a welcomed surprise as we were all tired from commuting and hauling luggage. Would definitely stay here again, it was convenient!
