Convenient hotel stay, for one night only. We were able to walk everywhere. No complaints. If you're looking for a large hotel room this is not it, the bed is the main space holder. It is narrow and small, but it was great for us!

The hotel was very nice and clean, very quiet. The staff was extremely nice, including the reception staff and the cleaning crew. I would recommend to other fellow travelers to replace the breakfast option they offer for 1700 yen with any of the breakfast places around.

Nice hotel with good service. The bed is comfortable. And the food from the restaurant also is a nice place for Italian foods. The staffs are nice and helpful. Thank you for all the reception staffs to help me send my luggage to Osaka. Nice room and quiet locations. A lot of good food around that area. Public transportation also easy to access to many transportation stations.

Staff are very courteous and friendly. Room's design (Japanese style) was really good and was not expected. Close to subway train station, restaurants and convenience stores. Room and facilities are very clean.

Not a pleasant experience

The room is good with a bit Japanese style and relatively big. However, the service is not as good as expected. After I made the reservation, I sent out two queries separately to the hotel, but NEVER got a reply. The reception staff was impatient. My friend realised she had made a mistake when booking the room when the reception staff asked for an additional charge. She was surprised and tried to verify the issue, but the reception staff was impatient and even laughed at her while she was waiting.

Hotel Resol Kyoto Shijo Muromachi is a lovely hotel located on a quiet street. A nice escape after a long day out. The room is smartly designed and was a comfortable stay. Its proximity to the busy shopping street and public transit is great. There are dining options & a Family Mart nearby if needed.

Hotel had some in-house performances and activities but unfortunately the timing didn't work out for us. Overall it is a very convenient location, walking distance to Nishiki market, and the pokemon centre which was a highlight for my son. Staff were friendly and provided kids slippers and toothbrushes which were cute. Was a comfortable stay!
