Pros: the room is clean, comfortable and well designed and lit. Bike rentals. Includes mini bar and access to the lounge and bar with alcohol. The place is exclusive and very private. Cons: second time staying here and I have a feeling that Japanese and locals get a more inclusive tour during their stay. Perhaps a language barrier, but would be great to learn more about the history.

Loved this gorgeous boutique hotel. It felt elegant yet peaceful in its small size. Our entry level or basic level room was really very large and was extremely comfortable with a comfortable king size bed, a separate dressing area and large bathroom area. The breakfast was outstanding of which we in particular loved both the avocado toast as well as the bread with fruit ( a white bread smothered in fresh cream topped with fresh strawberries) it was delicious! A fun add on in the hotel is the open bar anytime including a full self service bar with premium liquors, beer, and wine. The staff were very helpful. We look forward to staying there again. This hotel exceeded our every expectation.

This boutique hotel had exceptional service, the team was lovely and the complimentary mini-bar and snacks was definitely a nice touch. The room was spacious and comfortable for a family of 4. The little piece of Nintendo history also made the stay even more special. It was also nice to be in a quiet neighborhood but still be close to the city and busy areas. The library and open bar/self-service bar was also great. It was like coming home every night and everyone felt at ease and comfortable.

Quite possibly the best overall hotel experience we have enjoyed! We have travelled around the world, but the overall experience of Marufukuro was unmatched. The facility was comfortable, relaxed, with a wonderful funky esthetic. The staff were awesome. Helpful, but not overwhelming. Polite. The lounge was a great place to relax and end each busy day. The room was also comfortable and included any possible amenity. Thank you to the staff and owners. You have outdone yourselves.
