Love the location. It was super quiet there. Nijo castle was so near and nijojo-mae station is a short walk away. Room is large and very clean. It was very nice to stay there. Check in and check out was very easy. Highly recommended place for Kyoto.

This property is walking distance from sanjo shopping street and Nijo castle. We were able to extend an extra night and paid $14 for a late fee check out.

Tucked away in the most beautiful street this place was a real gem, it’s a decent walking distance to most everywhere in Kyoto if your like me and a 50 minute walk doesn’t bother you. The staff are super friendly and understanding of an accident that happened in the room and no extra charge was given too us. 100/10 stay!!!!

Super basic and automated (hence my comment on service). I am ok with the automated, but there was absolutely no one at the front desk to question. The rooms are cozy (but it’s Japan). The shower curtain had a ton of mold on it. The seam on the tub had mold in the seam. It’s a 5 but a clean bed to sleep on.
