Comfortable beds, a really nice bathroom and shower! Easy to take transit from here, close to trains and buses! Lots of stores and places to eat nearby. Staff were super welcoming.

Refused to book restaurants, but otherwise good

They refused to book a restaurant for us, claiming they had problems in the past with other guests. It is unacceptable to treat foreigners with this form of blanket exclusion. Other than that, the hotel was good: good food, nice bath, comfortable room.

Sehr schönes Hotel für guten Preis. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Schönes Zimmer. Die Bahnstation ist fußläufig schnell erreichbar. Das Hoteleigenen Onsen bietet eine gute Erholung. Außerdem bekamen wir täglich neue Wasserflaschen auf unser Zimmer.

Super nice hotel - very comfortable bed. Fluffy pillows and duvet. Breakfast has great options with continental and Japanese selection of foods. Also free onsen type public bath that works until 1am is a blessing after long explorative walks in Kyoto. Really good connections to public transport - bus (several stops less than 5min walk) and 10min walk to train station. plenty of dining options walkable distance and several grocery stores around.
