Great breakfast, flexible and friendly staff, decent WiFi, brand new rooms. We arrived early and they were able to get us a room early. Anything we needed, they provided. Great public space to sit and read or relax. All for a very good price.

After backpacking through Kyrgyzstan and staying in yurts and guest rooms, I wanted to treat myself for the last two nights to some comfort. I selected the Solutel for its price (relative to other four star hotels) and proximity (short walking distance to central train station, money changers, eateries, and Ala Too Square). One note I would be wary about is using their “affiliate partner” taxi service who they recommended to get me to Karakol. He is maybe not the best person for English speaking tourists who are unfamiliar with the country to coordinate transport with. I had issues with my bank card when I first arrived and he had not appropriately addressed the situation to help me...

Even our Kyrgyz friend was surprised to find such nice acommodation in Karakol. Really we couldn't have asked for more. The breakfast was fantastic and I liked that they had a guitar in the livingroom for guests to chill. The laundry room is also a huge plus for longer stays.
