The accommodation overall was very good but the hill up to it was so steep and we had great difficulty getting taxis to take us up and down, one of the staff was very kind and took us down one of the days, some days we felt we were stuck up there because we couldn’t get taxis down to the town.

You can find out about the history of El Albir with a visit to Punta Bombarda o Albir. Wander the area's beautiful beaches or simply enjoy one of its top-notch restaurants.
In addition to L'Albir, I also spent some time in nearby Benidorm and Altea. Benidorm felt a lot more like city, and Altea felt more like suburb with a bit of beach. In comparison, L'Albir felt like a sleepy little vacation town.
