"The unit is up a spiral staircase (not mentioned and no elevator). The smell when you enter the condo is very strong. The washer used only very hot water, and no laundry soap provided. The wash rags were hanging over a rack (we hope they were clean) had four extremely small and old stained towels. Refrigerator, stove, utensils and window seals were dirty. "This newly updated 1 bedroom house was a great home base for visiting friends in Valleyfield. It is on a quiet and safe street with easy access to the main Boul. near stores and restaurants. The bed is comfortable and basic supplies allow you to cook if you like. The TV is not hooked up to anything so we had to use our phone as a hotspot to access our Direct TV service-a bit wonky and inconvenient, but it worked. Overall a great value when visiting Valleyfield."
