"We only stayed one night in Angouleme and this was the perfect base! Gorgeous room, comfy bed, large bathroom with lovely shower and perfect location to walk to the centre. We drove and parked in Les Halles car park (just a few min walk from the apartment), I did see a few reviews saying this was tight but we found it fine with our SUV. Reasonably priced too. Also really appreciated the lovely coffee machine in the room! "

"We started off by having difficulty int getting to the hotel. It’s in between two roads on an intersection and it makes it difficult to get in and out of the tiny car park. Check in was quick and easy and reception was very friendly and informative. However, reception is only open until 9pm which is very odd for a hotel. The room itself was very basic, but suitable. "My wife and I stayed nine nights in August, and really enjoyed this property. It is cozy as advertised, newly renovated, and spotlessly clean. The air conditioning was put to good use during the heat wave that swept through during our visit. Check in and check out were smooth, and the hosts were easy to communicate with. I can’t imagine a better location than this apartment has. Within one block there’s a boulangerie, pharmacy, bus stop, laundry facility, and a small grocery store. One more...
