"My 3rd stay in 8 months should tell you everything. Stunning hotel probably one of the best 5* hotels in Gran Canaria. Room is big clean and decor is beautiful. I will stay again just not too sure when. I would certainly recommend Lopesan Costa Melonares 100 percent."

"Overall a pleasant experience but they try to add so many extra charges that seem unnecessary. Water is 4 euros per bottle and using the safe in the room is 3 euros per night. Verified traveler

Not much of a town, from the tourist point of view. Views marred by the acres of plastic sheathed banana greenhouses. Porto de Aldea is small and pretty. Drive up to Arternara was amazing, though a bit hair-raising at moments.
